The territory of the Province of Quebec is very large, covering almost 1 700 000 km2 .
Such a vast territory represents multiple occasions to find interesting minerals. Of course, the Poudrette and Francon quarries, the Jeffrey mine and some other are renowed worldwide, but many other very interesting mineralogical sites exists throughout the Province and many are still to be discovered.
